It's natural to want sex and it's easy. A relationship takes work. Most guys are probably just lazy. I for one want both. But I want to be in a relationship first before the other.

Some guys want only what they can get from a girl if they prove to be easy to be had. It's better to start a dating relationship with no sex involved to see how much a guy can be interested in a girl to see if a relationship may occur. So those guys looking only for sex can be weeded out early as undesirables if you're looking for something deeper.

A lot of men, not all of them follow their urges. Most men spend a great deal of time thinking about sex, how to get sex and what sex would be like with about every woman on the planet. That's an overstatement with regard to EVERY woman they see, but you get my drift.
Sex, for men is more about the act itself and not necessarily about the person. Men go into relationships generally for sex as women (not all) get into sex for a relationship.
Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, but generally speaking, men do not have to have a relationship (nor do they want a relationship) to have sex.

because theyre too immature to realize the importance of being having a meaningful person in their lives.
because their moms told them that theyre the best thing to ever happen to the human race
because they want to marry a double-jointed, supermodel, virgin, wild in bed, 6"0' tall, blonde, that loves them no matter how stupid they are
because they have tiny penises and need to sleep with as many women as they can to feel like they're huge
because stupid girls wil have sex with them because theyre cool
because they dont realize that once theyre over 30 it becomes just plain creepy
because they have really high self-esteems
because they made out with their moms
because theyre horny little bastards
because once theyre in a relationship girls want them to do stuff like stop scratching their butts in public
because theyre mom still do their laundry
because they havent met the right person

Because boys have at 18 years of age so much testosterone flooding in their blood, they can't think straight. It's pitiful, if you are a guy and want to concentrate on your studies.
In many primitive societies, it is normal, that young man can take any non attached girl as often as they want. They don't see that as rape, but as necessary.
As a women, it is hard to comprehend the torture, man have to endure, until testosterone finally subsides in the 50's.

We aren't that far removed from our friends in the animal world. Food ,Sex and sports are almost life sustaining in themselves.
