1) I wake up to drink a cup (two, three... and it goes on) of coffee or strong black tea if for some reason I've forgotten to buy coffee. Fruit or cheese to continue the breakfast.

Then anything I can find that will make me warm (in summer it's not like that though), meat especially when fried is very much welcome, soups, stewed vegetables and of course everything has to be slightly spicy.

Then something absolutely tasty for the supper as it has been a long and a hard day ;) I also adore long-lasting tea-time till 00.00 with lots of talking.

2) Appartment blocks, mine is not porsh, painted white and used to have a piqturesque view from the windows of my flat, but now it's gone as there's too much building going on everywhere around.

3) There're lots of dogs in the streets and sometimes we do not buy them but take little puppies right from the street instead.

I'm a vegetarian, so I mainly just have fruits and vegetables
in my fridge, along with soy milk, salsas and sauces.
Of course I also eat things like ; okroshka, compot, Goorievskaya kasha, kulebiaka, vatrushki, sooshki, baranki, Vareniky, varenik, Sauerkraut , uha, and etc.
( I mainly eat non-Russian food, but you're probably not interested in that. )

I live in Taiwan now, but when I lived in my home country
I lived in an apartment as most in my neighborhood did also.

We don't have false smiles ( which might make us look angry or sad ) like you've always got in western countries.
But Russians can be very open for tight relationships that you'll never get with those always-smiling people.
Like the old saying goes :

'To smile without reason is the mark of an idiot.'

1. Everyting. Supermarkets in Russia look just like StopAndShop or like Safeway, only better in terms of variety. I mostly eat vegetagles and fish. But that's not typical. Russians eat a lot of bread, especially russian men.
2. Brick building. Apartment.
3. We have no bears walking on the streets, contrary to popular belief. LOL. People eat bread and butter for breakfast like a butter sandwich and don't concern themselves with calories or cholesterol. Maybe they should. Girls have much higher standards for themselves about being fit and looking good.

No it is "Laughter without a reason is a mark of a fool." It is a Russian saying which I personally don't agree with.
