Yes they are only human but stupidity is no excuse for not being held accountable for your actions - and what those actions were the police are currently investigating.

Yes we all make mistakes, no-body is perfect. But i have never made a 'mistake' with my children's safety! A mistake is locking your car keys in your car or giving somebody the wrong change in a shop. It is NOT a mistake to INTENTIONALLY LEAVE your children alone, this is neglect and something they did over and over.......

They have done some silly things which I feel sure that they deeply regret and if they could turn the clock back may well have been more carefull. But the bottom line is that they have a little girl who is still missing and I am not sure how I would behave if I were them. It must be a living nightmare.
