As long as you have the right connection....vga , etc and you can support the required resolution....

It might help if you tell us what computer you have. In particular what video card or video chipset you have.
If it uses a VGA connector (very probable) and the monitor has a VGA connection (incredibly probable) then yes.
The monitor would probably look a bit better if you have a DVI-D connection, but that would add $ to the monitor and possibly require a new video card.

You need to look for the output on your video card, its either VGA or DVI, make sure the inputs on your new monitor has an input that matches your video cards output. DVI has better picture quality but VGA works fine. VGA is usually blue, DVI is usually white.
