It's not just this board. They are trying to take over the US government and force all of the rest of us to obey their rules. For some reason, the science they like to pick on most is the part about evolution. It must be because if they can suceed in putting their beliefs into schools in place of biology, the students who grow up in that atmosphere will be more amenable to their propaganda when they are voting adults.

The only thing science-minded people can do is fight back. It used to be that scientists could just go about their business and ignore the religionists, but that time seems to be gone.

Every now and then something really riles them up. I wonder if the recent NOVA program about the Dover Trial is what has gotten their undies in it a bunch this time. Beware, these people like to send death threats.

Creationists tend to be those people who try very hard to impress their own views on other people, no matter how politely you decline. Remember: Christians (and Jesus) will love you no matter what, as long as you don't disagree with them about anything. Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be creationists.
