Being gay... incorrect.. those 2 words shouldn't additionally be in an identical sentence. Neither might desire to real and bible. i'm a right away woman who hangs out on the abortion sanatorium.. to no longer consume little ones, yet to cling with the queers and help the sufferers. via the way the girls answering this question are inspiring!

Why do people post questions like this one in LGBT? Of course no one who hangs out here is going to say being gay is wrong, because we are all supportive of one another. Of course there is your occasional gay basher who stops by just to post some hateful remark. But we pretty much make short work of them.
If being gay is wrong, then so is being straight wrong. We are all children of God, and there is no wrong in that.

"Wrong", in my opinion, is something that generally causes negative consequences. Where are the negative consequences of being gay?

I realise that with being gay you're subject to hate from friends, family and society in general but this is not a negative consequence of being gay, it's a consequence of taught homophobia. If children weren't taught by their peers that gay people were immoral, afront to God, etc, there wouldn't be such reaction to gay people.

Basically, I'm saying that being gay isn't wrong, being prejudice against people because they're gay is.

I grew up in a christian home setting, I married and had six children, as a family we also attended church regularly and instilled chrisitian values into our children's lives, two of whom are gay, I was at first shocked and dumfounded at the prospect that i fathered gay children, it is not something i ever dreamed would occur.... but besides the fact that they are my kids, whom i love and respect dearly, i cannot say being gay is wrong, i'm not them, and i have no answer as to why they are gay, they are in long term relationships with partners that i also love and care a great deal for, so no i can't say that it is wrong, and for someone to say it is hasn't walked a mile in their shoes.

Of course I don't think it's wrong! I'd be so conflicted and probably majorly depressed at the very least, if I thought being gay was wrong and I am gay. Why would it be wrong? Two people loving each other is not wrong.

Mainly only religious nuts and other sexually repressed types think being gay is wrong these days. I predict the "It's wrong" answers will be preachy and imply a superiority of the answerer.

a lot of people think that way unfortunately. Just shows though that even though many who are prejudiced against and hate gay people yet profess to be good christians can be truely hypocritical in that they are breaking one of the commandments merely by hating gay people. We are supposed to love our neighbours as we do ourselves.
