I am planning on staying in a haunted hotel next December for my thirtieth. I will be going with a small group of friends. I have searched the internet and got a few ideas for places. Now I would love to hear any recommendations from people who have actually stayed in a hanuted hotel and what they thought of it. I live in the North West of England and want to stay relatively close to that area.

Craig y nos in Wales (as featured in Most Haunted). Things were thrown at me, dragging noises and a young girls laughter. Try www.frightnights.co.uk.

Stayed in one in Bisbee, AZ, USA. I don't see or feel anything and don't really believe, but my wife does and felt really weird when we stayed there. Also, our digital camera display went on the fritz while we were there and has never worked right since.

I like the idea and would love to see a ghost, but at this time I am still a skeptic.

That would be entertaining.
But have you ever though that after being in that house, the bathroom (the loo) might be more haunted than the rest of the house?
