Trust me the church has never ordered anyone and will never order anyone to stop believing. This is the biggest publicity the church has had in years, why would it do that?
I'm not a believer in any religion but i know not to interfere with others. Maybe I'd keep your opinions to yourself when they aren't going to help anyone. The McCanns are still going to church at every opportunity they can, just because it's not in the news any more doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
