Bill Clinton pardoned Marc Rich, a man wanted by the Justice Department for selling illegal Iranian oil under a US embargo and later found out to be selling illegal Iraqi oil under a UN embargo and the largest private donor to the Clinton presidental library.

Denise Rich, the wife of Saddam's personal oil broker, donated 1 million dollars to the democrat party.

Former American fugitive Marc Rich was a middleman for several of Iraq's suspect oil deals in February 2001, just one month after his pardon from President Clinton, according to oil industry shipping records obtained by ABC News.

And a U.S. criminal investigation is looking into whether Rich, as well as several other prominent oil traders, made illegal payments to Iraq in order to obtain the lucrative oil contracts.

Your twisted view has to be a direct result of your unrelenting hatred for the Clintons. You profess to make it appear that the pardon of Marc Rich was somehow more unjustified than the pardon of Casper Weinberger who was under investigation for the Iran/Contra scandal under Reagan's watch until George H.W. Bush gave his approval and the details of what actually happened during Iran/Contra was buried forever. Even your own links show that after Clinton pardoned Marc Rich that both Democrats and Republicans were furious and conducted an extensive investigation to find what the Clinton's could have possibly gained from this and there was never any charges brought nor evidence that the Clinton's profited in any way. So no...Democrats are not upset about the Clinton's no more than the Republicans are upset about Bush I pardon of the first ally of Saddam Hussein, Reagan and his Secretary of Defense. Let's not forget that Cheney was also a member of Reagan's White House...so how much do you think Cheney has profited over the years from dealing with Saddam Hussein??? You people need to get real and get over this hatred of the Clinton's before it really warps your mind set.

Probably not.
Got a link to support your claims.

They profited less then British Petroleum, Shell and Chevron plan on.

"In the hours and days before the United States and Britain invaded Iraq, a team of British Petroleum (BP) engineers in Kuwait taught combat troops from the 516 Specialist Team Royal Engineers how to run the oil fields in southern Iraq."

EDIT:
Took 10 seconds to find links that do not substantiate your claims.
Took me 2 seconds to find a link showing a man pardoned for treason, selling missiles to Iran.

It began with Reagan allowing American companies to sell precursors chemicals for the production of WMD's and continues to this day.

Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II have worked feverishly to advance the "noble causes" of the enrichment of corporate America , the expansion of the American Empire, the steady erosion of the populist gains made during the Twentieth Century, and the substantial increase in the wealth chasm between the rich and the poor.

In 1982, the Reagan Regime removed Iraq from the State Department's list of nations sponsoring terrorism. This enabled US corporations, including members of the military industrial complex, to capitalize on the abundant profits to be had in the Iraqi marketplace. In 1983, Ronald Reagan sent special envoy Donald Rumsfeld to meet with US ally Saddam Hussein to "normalize relations" which had been terminated during the Arab-Israeli War of 1967. Despite full knowledge that Hussein used chemical weapons against Iran and on the Kurds of his own nation, the United States continued its cozy relationship with Saddam. The United States and its allies in Western Europe provided Hussein with military helicopters and the precursor agents necessary to manufacture the very weapons of mass destruction which later became one of the pretexts for the Neocon invasion of Iraq.

Clinton does not personally profit from a donation to the Democratic party.

I care more about what Cheney did with his top secret Energy Meeting. It seems to me that He did his best to personally profit from that boondoggle. Even if Clinton aided the Democratic Party that is nothing compared to the thievery of Cheney and his cronies. It is amazing how you keep hounding Clinton even after he is out of office and ignore Cheney who is in office and making huge profits from his secret deals as we speak.

1) I'm not a Democrat, nor a Republican

2) I have no idea how much the Clintons may have profited from this.

3) As they are politicians, and powerful beyond measure, I'm not surprised, either.
