Whats the purpose of Christmas to you?

It is the gift of God to the world, His Son was sent and born in a manger. A child born perfect, pure and without the sin nature unlike mankind. He grew to be a man displaying the unconditional love to everyone, healing the sick, raising the dead to life and casting out the devils that bound their victims without mercy. Jesus Christ not only displayed such love in His life but also in His death. Those who hated Him planned to have him not only murdered but planned him crucified to a cross. Jesus knew this, yet He also knew that by His death, All the world could be freed from the curse that was upon them. The curse of sin, sickness, poverty, and both physical and spiritual death. Jesus willingly laid down His life so that by His death we would receive New life in Him and those who would call upon him would receive His Spirit within them allowing them to be changed from the inside out. But with this new life, power and authority is given, Power to reign, power to rule as kings and Jesus after His death, He was resurrected and glorified unto God and He told those who followed Him, to go and make disciples and kings for he will return to set up His kingdom on this earth. Those refusing and rejecting Christ would not inherit His kingdom and forfeit their rights as kings as well..Christ is Christmas, celebrating God's Gift in making paupers into kings..Glory to God!

its forgiving those who have hurt us and its also a time of remembering the real meaning of the word christmas, its the baby in the manger who was crucified so that our sins would be forgiven...

to me it is just a time to be
with family. not so much
as the gifts but the time
you spend together.
