Women have been asking for equal rights since the dawn of history. For the most parts, in the United States they have most equal rights but in many cases deserve more equalism. This should extend to lifting the seat. Women - you do realize that just as you have to have the lit down to use it, we rather have it up to use it to keep it clean from dripping. Why can't it be a common courtesy that goes both ways. When a man uses it, he sets it down, when the women does, she lifts it up? Is that too much to ask? We are all equal after all, aren't we?

For the record, I always leave it down for my wife. This question stemmed from a conversation I was having with a friend. Although I am playing devil's advocate, I do believe it does have some merit in the debate. :)
