It amazes me why some people bother to ask questions on this site when they don't want to hear other opinions or answers that contradict their beliefts, which in their eyes, are the only true beliefs. They ask a question and then get all defensive when they receive answers that they don't agree with. If they are all knowing and perfect, why bother?

I think they are asking the questions to spread a belief they have and when someone questions that belief they do not know what to do. For example, a question such as "why do people believe in global warming?" may be a statement, I don't believe in global warming so why should you? and when someone gives a reason and cites good scientific evidence of that fact, this puts them in a position of having to either change their opinion or become defensive and the ones who think they know it all have no ability to consider any opinion but their own so become irritated at an answer which may make more sense actually than their question.

These folks have there own "perfect" world - With there "perfect minds, personalities, families, dogs and or cats or other "perfect" animals, there "perfect" jobs with there "perfect" spouses, children, relatives and etc.
Just DA_N PERFECT...
This is a very serious medical condition.
There lives are such - Which they try to convince themselves and others that they are PERFECT..
When in reality :
They are actually BORED SO BAD THAT THEY ARE EXPERIENCING WITHDRAWALS AND SELF PERSONALITY DENIALS THAT THEY EVENTUALLY BECOME - D.A's....
My grandparents had a fast way of correcting this condition by asking the following:
Therefore, If you know so much and that intelligent .. Then .. Why don’t you have much more than what you have and either not having to work or living better than what you are? That is : Being so well off and rich beyond your dreams, having others to wait on you hand & foot.
These folks live probably such a lonely life.. I truly feel sorry for them. For they are “not as smart as they think”...

Yea it extremely is an hassle-free question. in case you knew that your self, you comprehend you have left him yet why you probably did not. Right on Morgana ! I have asked many questions and I have never given even "Thumbs down" to any answer even if I didn't agree with the answerer ! People are so "uptight"!
If the question doesn't "go with your perfection" why bother answering it and make some stupid remark for that matter ?
