Hi werlcome to my world,
What kinda parents does she have? Something is definately out of whack in her home life, attention deprieved that's for sure.
Resently on Good Morning America they did a segement about why children are maturing faster but I didn't pay enough attention, but I am pretty sure if you go to abc.com you can read the article (as I no longer have children at home).
But my granddaughter is a ripe old age of 8 years, the things that go on in school that she brings home ( I was shocked to say the least-a kid got suspended for calling another kid racial names-bullying), what some of her friends say (already wearing make-up at 8). I'm beginning to wonder if some parents are to busy with (their own lives, divorce, careers, job security, violence) to know what parenting is period.
Have a good night. :0)
Additional Details: LQQK she is a child herself, she definately needs some parental supervision that's for sure.

As children girls are given baby dolls to treat as babies. Some girls love it and can wait for adulthood for a real one while others want a real one as soon as they can have one.
A 13 year old doesn't know just what it takes to raise a baby, so the idea of having one is very appealing to them.....at least until it's time to change stinky diapers and when they realize that their life suddenly revolves around the baby and that they can't just "go out" with their friends anytime they like.

Unfortunately these days, it appears to be the "in thing to do" and more common than society is willing to admit. I work in a high school setting and see little pregnant girls everyday...there's no way they have a clue as to what is involved in bringing a human being into this world and raising it to be a productive member of society. I've heard girls say that they just want someone to love them, what they don't realize is that babies need to be shown, experience and taught love first hand in order to give it. They aren't born knowing how...

They think that having a baby will make them feel loved and they are not thinking of the responsibilities that go with the child. Somewhere this thirteen year old doesn't fell loved or like they fit in weather it be at home or with friends they need help.

It's sad that a child would want to think like that and I think it maybe because the parents are not showing the love for this child.

They probably had a stressful childhood and doing "adult" things is a way to escape from it. That's also why young girls are moving into puberty faster.

Maybe they think they're ready for something when they arn't. try talking to them. Sometimes when you see a baby u think awww its cute I want one. Same thing with a puppy!! Think about it!
