Or the "anti-abortion" movement, or whatever you want to call it.
What has been done since Bush took office to try to outlaw, or at least restrict, the ease at which abortions are performed?

We can agree to disagree on the issue of abortion, but what has been done by the "Party of Life" on this issue???

Are these fair questions to ask??

Thank You, As Always!!

Alot of trollers are answering this....
I am going to try to answer this the best I can without sounding like a troll.
I don't think they have. I think that this is because of the fact that the GOP has a wide array of factions to appease. They have a conservative faction of social conservatives, who are have the pro life agenda, yet they also have the corporate agenda to mobilize, and the two don't necessarily agree. It boils down to priorities, and then there is also the issue of foreign policy (the ongoing war in Iraq).
I think that they have tried to remain a status quo, and also perhaps plant the seeds of future influence via the Supreme Court appointments, but that aside, I don't see an aggresssive pro-life movement within the administration. These are my thoughts, so I tried to answer the question without being a troll. :)

The pro-life issue, in relation to issues of Iraq, the economy and immigration, is a very minor issue for most people and is not going to be a pressing issue for any Republican candidate. In reality, there is very little that the president can do, other than appoint conservative Supreme Court justices, to effect laws on abortion. A case against Roe v. Wade would have to brought to the Supreme Court for them to overturn their original ruling. This is not something that the White House, or Congress can simply change if they want.

i will in no way vote for all people that helps abortion because of the fact it is the homicide of an harmless toddler. no rely what occasion they're a member of. via the way your data are fallacious because of the fact it is the domicile and Senate that has maximum impact over abortion.

It's the media hyping up Giuliani. There are pro-life candidates out there, but the one who really has a shot is Huckabee. His record is clean, he is honest and open, and he is a real conservative.

And as far as the rest goes, I'm not sure what has been done but I know it is not enough!

The republicans have lost their backbone...they are scared to death of the dems in congress....the dems are masters of personal destruction and the republicans are scared to cross them for fear of that destruction....the dems will smear them even if they have to use lies to do it...it doesn't matter to the dems, and the lib press will go along with it and make an issue out of it...lie or not.
It is time for the republicans to get a backbone...toughen up, and kick some dem keysters...take them on head to head and let the chips fall where they may!!!

Libs keep confusing folks with false, oddball questions like this. That just isn't right, and neither is the murder of innocent growing babies, no matter how many times a Liberal says it is.

Ive asked myself this many times. This and a few other reasons (spending, insane approach to illegal immigration, blind support of NAFTA) is exactly why I parted ways with the GOP. Im ready for a change as long as that change ISNT Hillary Clinton.

The "Party of Life" (haven't heard that term for them myself, but...) is busy cheering on the killing in Iraq.
