I have an Intuos 2 at that size. I think I'm going on 3-4 years and no problems. Larger size is difficult to transport to and from work or school. Best investment I've made. More so than the Mac Pro. If i was getting a new one I'd get a wide screen on 6x11. Next best investment would be a quality monitor.

Mac monitors are calibrated but they need to be re-calibrated ever year. You can pick up the same monitors apple uses (much cheeper) and then pick up a screen calibrator and do it yourself every year.

I have been using my 4 x 6 Wacom Pen Parter for about six years with no problems. I don't know if it is because it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, or because I treat it very gently.
