As a woman of almost 40 I have seen presidents come and go and quite frankly whoever is sitting in the oval office has had very little to do with my experience living in America.
I still buy the same groceries, drive the same highways and meet the same people.
I still have to have a job- as a matter of fact in my daily life no changes have been forced upon me by what is happening in Washington.
So, if a foreigner said to me I dislike America since Bush came into office - I'd have to say perhaps you should focus a little more on getting a life and enjoying what actually affects you than immersing yourself in political rhetoric.

It's not so wise to give such a comment in today's
''so racial'' American society!
Although, one would always hear ''''the freedom of speech''' in the air so to speak, BUT racism and prejudice in America
is all time high!!
Thus, being a Muslim, Mexican or a foreigner for that matter
and stating such a comment will touch lot of nationalist, bush lovers nerves!!
ADD: There're actually
some among the responses!! you see....!

I actually have had this told to me while I was traveling abroad.
I said the country and the American people are great, we just made a VERY BIG MISTAKE and we're living with it everyday. We'll become an admired and respected part of the world again in the next election.

I'd tell them to go back home. Because you may dislike our President does not mean you should allow a foreigner to talk badly about our President. This is our Country, he is our President, not theirs.
What do you think the reaction of that person would be if you were in their country? Would you allow someone to talk badly about your family?

I agree. He has been a disaster. It's just an opinion. It shouldn't matter the source.

I understand. It is all Bush's fault and he will soon leave office. Hopefully we will have someone decent at last.
