Ah, but it was so much more fun to PLAY and use your imagination with the BOX that the toy came in ... Use it as a Puppet Theater, an Art Showcase, to climb in and out of, a special hideaway (if the box is large enough), etc etc etc. (Hey, when my children were toddlers/very young -- the BOXES were played with MORE than the toys!)

Yes of course.

Then you couldn't play with the toy because there were no batteries to be found and no stores were open on Christmas so the toy just sat there!

I hope Santa never left you anything naughty ~dance~
Don't think Santa ever left me anything that needed batteries.
Got a great fort from him when I was little though.

i think of it relies upon on who you ask. one human beings could say it is the superb green rubber ball it is taken everywhere (e.g, to mattress, foodstuff, the automobile, outdoor, and so on.). it is the excellent "fetch" toy. Buffy has discovered to leap up and capture it in the air because it bounces crazily. Our different canines merely sit down returned and applaud her athletics. Jack (the dachshund) could in all probability say it is the warmth sunny spot that we deliver to him each and every afternoon via the window and Sammy (the cockapoo)) could in all probability say that i'm the ultimate toy. one human beings could think of it is the superb new 64degree wedge that i offered for all the canines to examine at the same time as whilst i'm no longer playing golf.

Can't blame Santa for missing batteries...blame the missus, she has to entertain herself somehow while her hubby is making his 'round the world trek.

Frequently.

Santa never remembered the batteries when he was shopping.

No. But I was a bit amazed to discover how mean he was when it came to me. My friends got amazing toys but I got cheap plastic generic brands. (I still sob for a proper Barbie.)
