For me thats the last straw, i had backed what the PM was doing, but not now, by imprisoning a national hero, just because he voiced his opinion is shameful. For him to resort to a hunger strike is embarrassing for every Pakistani worldwide. People crazily follow cricket in pakistan, its a very sad day...

what do you suggest he does? The man is being forgotten about by the outside world. He has done nothing wrong, except criticise the president. You obviously live in a country where you take your freedom for granted

It's a way of demonstrating commitment to protesting against the situation in Pakistan. His options are pretty limited as he's in prison.

by doing that he draws the media's attention to his argument. what else can he do? he's got more balls than any of us i know that much.
