Joba is probably right, but not just because he's fast or changes speeds. It's also because with his control issues, you might get hit with one of those balls.

I would hate to face this guy, especially when he's covered with bugs!

The only place it would scare me to face Clemens is in an eating contest. hahaha!

Joba is a fraud, we saw how he pitched on the big stage in October. Carmona had no problem pitching with a few bugs, but Yankee fans love using that as an excuse for Joba, even though he pitched like crap in his other postseason outing as well. But back to the question, I would still have to say Randy Johnson because he can still throw hard when healthy, and he is tall and friggen ugly as sin

I see some in his day responses, therefore I will say Bob Gibson, that guy was just plain nasty. If you were fortunate enough to get a hit off him, look out the next time up, may be in your ear. Those days batting helmets were rare.

I don't think that, if I would pick anyone to be scared of, it would be a rookie with 25 innings. Johan Santana would be still be #1 because he has the best shot at getting you out.

Yeah I agree with Fausto Carmona. 96mph fastball that just drops off the cliff. The guy is nasty. When you have Torri Hunter saying I felt like I was playing with a hangover thats how sick his stuff is" then he must be pretty hard to hit.

Nolan Ryan no doubt. He'd throw two 101 mph screamers by ya then show ya uncle charlie and make everybody look stupid

that is easy, the old Randy Johnson. With old Pedro Martinez coming in a close second. Johnson, with that size, and bad atittude, he loves beaning people
