The Yankees are going after another over the hill pitcher who can't stay healthy? This is great news... for Red Sox fans.
The Angels aren't a stupid organization. They don't unload talented players, especially starting pitchers, capriciously. The fact that they're looking cleanly cut ties to Colon ought to tell you something.

What I find bizarre is they're spending all this money and they haven't addressed the issues that need to be addressed. Basically I see the same team they have been failing in the playoffs with, except they're all older. I think they need a solid veteran starting pitcher (innings eater), which if Colon stayed healthy he could be. Then they need some solid middle relief, finally give a couple youngsters a shot.
