No, he shouldn't be ready to divorce his wife. What he should be ready to do is break it off with someone that has no respect for their self, or other people by cheating...lying...and dating a married man.
What life could you possibly have together? Can't be very meaningful if the man has his own FAMILY. I am sorry dear, but you are not part of his family and grow some courage and self worth and leave the family alone. By no means is this your decision.

Sounds like he likes the situation. After 2 years I would have already demanded the divorce. Maybe he hasn't really moved on. And if he is living with you then no it isn't ok if he takes her to dinner.

IF he wanted a divorce, he would have already gotten it! I mean it's been 2 yrs? What's the hold up...... you ask? He still loves her. So u are the "other woman?" Well he is married you know? So what if he takes his wife out for her birthday. You need to find someone who ISN'T married!! He's trailing u along and u are allowing him to do it........

LOL I don't want my ex husband to be hurt either, but I sure as hell don't want to be married to him again!!! Of course he loves your life together--he's getting laid regularly, isn't he?? By you AND by his wife! And of course it is none of your business if he takes her out to dinner for her birthday--it IS his wife--and you can think of them afterwards having "great sex and pampering". You ain't the only one, honey.

Sister, she is not his ex if they are still married!
You are with a married man who has been having his fun and stringing you along for 2 years! Wake up! You are being used!

That means, I am still married either in reality or in his head. It also means that he is stringing you along and not going to marry you. Wake up girl.

i would suppose he could do whatever he wants to do. thats what he's been doing, and why not, you've allowed it. remember though, he is still married to her and could go back to her at anytime. hopefully you will realize that youre being played as the backseat lover. butwhy not let him go after she is the wife and you are not!!
