i dont use norton i love my spybot! if you learn how to use the advanced features it works even better too. make sure its spyBOT (search and destroy version) not spyware. i love this software, its free, and its excellent quality. it catches everything and blocks like 95% of everything you can possibly think of(malware,viruses,trojans,trackers...etc). unfortunatly microsoft doesnt recognize it as a virus protection program so you will either have that annoying little icon on your system tray, or you can turn off the notification but then it shows up during virus scans as "microsoft security override" which isnt a virus its just telling you that you have overrided microsoft's security notification about you not having a virus protection program. try it out, you dont have to get rid of your norton program i am pretty sure that they wont interfere with each other, if they do you can always uninstall, no problems there.
