He obviously still cares for you which is only natural. It may be nothing more than a guilty conscience or maybe he now realizes what he's lost. Take the gift but be careful if he starts to play your feelings again.

Return the dress. Sounds like he wants to make contact with you on a personal basis. Respect his wife by not getting involved in any way with him. You'll never regret it.

I would think nothing, as I would return it and say thank you, but no thank you and then return my thoughts to my family.
Just think about how you would feel if your husband started getting gifts from one of his ex-girlfriends....don't make him feel the same way.

I'd tell him my boyfriend was in awe of how great I looked in that dress and I agreed with him. So if he wants to buy me another one, go right ahead and I like red.

Don't be so naive. If he has a newborn that means his new woman can't have sex for a while. He's just trying to get some. Men always have their motives and it is usually sex.
