The fried chicken is the only thing that seems a bit out of place to me, but then again, I never branched out much from my own family's Thanksgiving get-togethers to determine that. I have been to a few other family's Thanksgiving meals, but I haven't ever seen fried chicken. We always do a honey ham and a turkery.
Drink wise I would offer some tea as I know that is what I typically like. And dessert wise, I would give people more of a choice...add some pecan pie in there. Other than that, I think it sounds great and super yummy!!!!!

Yes it is a good menu. I love all that's listed.
My family consists of 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, 2 grandsons (2nd & 3rd graders) & my dear precious bread winner husband and myself.
They tell me all during the year how they crave my turkey & very moist dressing (served as dressing, not stuffed in the bird ). I always have the traditional food and asked my son's years ago what foods they loved for me to always include. It was yummy mac & cheese & creamed potato's-with carnation milk & lots of butter and brown gravy instead of the giblet gravy.
I start baking my desserts & congealed salads 2 days before the feast, bake the turkey breast & mix the dressing the day before our dinner. This is the magic for out of this world dressing & its baked slowly 2 hours before lunch is served. I furnish all the food,do all the preparing, cooking & baking and this is always my gift to my family...my time & love to make sure they have the best dinner hoping this tradition will be practiced after I'm long gone...Memories, a cherished gift. My son's drop in on me these 2 days of prepping & baking to take the aroma home & patiently wait....that's sweet & dear to me.

Sounds very southern. If your family likes that, then sounds fine. To each his own (tastes).
My family has the turkey and stuffing, plus my dad insists on a smoked ham. We also have homemade scalloped potatoes, Asparagus with hollandaise sauce, cranberry sauce, olives, pickles, applesauce, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, mashed potatoes with fresh turkey gravy, rolls, broccoli with cheese and whatever else we decide we want to add to it that year.
BTW, the fried green tomatoes sounds yummy. Where I live, all of the green tomatoes are gone by Thanksgiving. Lucky you. ;)

Yep... Sounds good to me.
EDIT... I like iced tea... Lemonade is good also. I'm not a fan of sweet drinks. Water's always my number one option.
Nothing's wrong with fried chicken at Thanksgiving. We're having it also.

Fried chicken AND turkey? Otherwise, sounds great. And you need a beverage that isn't necessarily sweet, like iced tea or coffee.
