Seriously, if you poke them hard enough with a pin, do they bleed?

If you manager to pierce the external screen, the liquid-crystal solution will leak out and the display will become inoperative.

You are going to have a hard time getting through the screen with a pin.
Feel free to try it, it will destroy your monitor. Most likely you will crack the glass but not break all the layers of plastic. There is only a couple of drops of liquid crystal material in there anyway.

The liquid crystal can ooze out. I stepped on my ex's laptop screen and it bled inside the screen.

yes they will bleed.. LCD means liquid crystal display.. its liquid inside it.. it will pour out if you do that.. others are being mean on your question..
