I'd prefer to drive. If the destination is far I'll definitely make the flight though. Say if I were trying to go 500 miles or more from where I'm at. That would be a flying trip.

I am not a fan of flying. I prefer to travel by car because can take in the scenery, stop and look around when I want and if the mood takes me I can take detours when the interest takes me.

I prefer to drive. I love road trips. I'm afraid of heights and don't like to fly unless I absolutely have to.

I like to fly, but I don't like the time getting to and from the airport, waiting for the luggage carousel to give me my luggage or going through airport security. I don't like waiting in airports between flghts either. I'm living in Thailand and most of my flights are international. I fly business class, but don't pay for it; I use frequent flyer miles for the upgrade which takes a lot of pre-planning since airlines don't like to give anything for free. If I were flying in economy class, I would hate to fly because I barely like it now.

I used to be a flight attendant before I went back to college so I would say fly because I love to fly. It is actually safer.
