It was true in my sisters case, however, the reason was because he was an abusive asshole, that slept around with every other women except for his wife.
My sister finally had enough and divorced him, but it took her 16 years to do it, but they didn't have sex the last 1 1/2 - 2 years before the divorce.
So I guess what I'm saying isn't that it can't be true, but you don't know why. He could be saying it is all her and find out too late, that it is all him.

I think it could be true..... My husband and i have recently seperated and he moved out. Prior to that i don't think we had any relationship at all anyway for a few years and the only time we had sex was when i instigated it over a year prior.

usually means he wants to lay her down. he wants affeection from a woman cause he is not getting it at home. before to long he will sleep with someone, and it may be good for him for a little while or he could like it and leave the wife who isnt giving it to him anyways. sounds like a serious problem here that started years ago. wife can try to salvage whats left or let husband go and be happy.

I don't think that it matter whether he is telling the truth or not. He is still married and you should stay away from him. If he wants to move on then he and his wife should get divorced.
I wouldn't date a man like that out of principle. If he is married, then he isn't available!
