Help to educate them and find a job. If we just give them money we are only feeding into their problems and they will never try to do anything for themselves.

Education. If they are smart, they will find work or make their own. Hopefully with their greater education, they will be wise enough to spend their earnings carefully and live a comfy lifestyle. Unfortunately, not all want to be educated. Basically if you keep giving them a handout, chances are they will be back for more. Teach them only the skills to earn it for themselves, and you will soon find that they will have no choice but to use them and prosper from their own doings and effort.
