Well JDM I did some digging and I have a couple threads of a lead for you.First ask the web to search the question,"what in contract law do fruits refer to?"Or go to vinewise.com.They tell you in detail how to lay out a contract.I guess it might be www.vinewise.com or .org.Another thing is you have to remember different states have different laws. After reading for several hours about contract law from vinewise I called an attorney friend of mine who now only does Wills and Estates and was once the Prosecuting Attorney of Genesee County just north of Detroitin Flint,Michigan. He is now in his 80s and never misses a day of work.He informed me that the fruits of a law refer to the benefits of a law.It is what actually binds it legally in court. His name is John M. Wright. He was once with Dennis Archer ,the former Governor of Michigan, head of the Michigan Bar Association. Also I have a couple of Links which may be useful. One is http://www.duhaime.org/diction.htm The other one is http://dictionary.law.com/ Jack is also listed in Hubbell-McDowell or McDowell-Hubbell book listing and rating the top lawyers in each state. But he told me that definitely the "fruits" of contract law refer to the benefits.I will continue to dig and try to give closure to some of the other stuff I've already told you.

Fruits in Law means profit. This term is used because in the past the main goods of people were the plantations and the product of it were the fruits. It is more often used in contracts to describe profits of any activity. For instance, the fruits of your work is your wage, the fruits of a house you have and that you rent is the rent, the fruit of business you have is the money it makes and so on.

Do you mean like fruit of the poisonous tree? Anything that came from that tree is bad evidence. Fruits of your labor means the results of your labor.
