Herpes, like any other STD, is considered a dirty disease. However, that's rather silly when you think about it. Studies have shown something like 8/10 people have herpes. Look around at your co-workers tommorrow. 7 other people of 10 of you have it. It's simply a virus that one can catch- just like a cold or a flu. Many people don't realize they have it and may never see symptoms.
As for giving it to offspring, it is possible. However, you will not give it to the baby while pregnant. It would only be during delivery. Therefore, all you need to do is tell your doctor. Then, you can still choose to do a vaginal delivery and right before you're going to deliver they will examine you very carefully to make sure you're not having an outbreak. If not, you can deliver vaginally. If so, then you need to have a c-section.
People with herpes can and do have healthy children. As long as you are open with your doctor (and if he/she isn't perfectly okay with it, you have a bad doctor) everything can go fine.
And please remember, herpes is a virus. Like any other virus, it can be caught fairly easily and may not have been caught sexually at all. Feeling bad about yourself because you have it is akin to feeling like a bad person because you caught a cold over the winter.
Good luck in having a family!

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about three years back, whilst I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I know lots of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/ltTRg everything changed.
Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

Herpes in newborns can rationale tons of issues, to not point out the little one having herpes for the leisure of their lives. The placenta offers security towards viruses seeing that blood certainly not mixes, its the without a doubt vaginal start that can transmit the virus. Mum and baby's fluids mixing for the period of the start, so if a mom had herpes she would be supplied a C-part, despite the fact that not continuously.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.
