I personally would not want free money. First everyone you know would expect some after all it was given to you. Secondly I like the way I feel when I look at my somewhat meager possessions knowing that they are the result of mine and my wifes hard work, I guess I am just weird that way

I would like enough to pay off the few bills I have (which is not very much) the rest of it I would love more then anything to build my own animal shelter and help as many animals as I can in my area. That would be a dream come true for me.

sure, in excess ... LOL

not sure what i'd do with it ... but i'm sure there would be a lot more "self indulgance"

the right thing for me to do is to take a lot of money and buy the people that deal with serious health concerns comforts / some type of edge in getting well or passing . a little bit of money can make such a difference in such situations.

Sure, who doesn't?
As for how much, I don't really know, I guess enough to pay all of my overdue bills and see that my daughter gets through college without any financial worries for her. I guess about $300,000.00 (no, I'm not exaggerating, I've been out of work just that long and I've got one heck of a hospital bill from last year).
Why, are you giving money away?

No, I want money I work hard for. There is a saying that goes 'if you get something for free sometimes you pay too much for it' and that is true. there is usually so much crap assosciated with getting something for nothing (guilt trips, feeling of owing, etc). and i would like the satisfaction of knowing i worked hard for that money and it's mine because i deserve it.

As much as I could have, and I'd give it to charity!
If it ran into the millions, though, I'd give some to charity and put the rest into the NHS and schools, etc.
It'd be great to be able to help out in that way.

1 cool million would be nice. So I can donate 1/2 of it to charity, and the rest to buy a beach house and furnish it.

$1,000,000- or even 250-500K- just enough to take my dad and his wife on a great holiday to repay them for much kindness, then set my them up for retirement as he has no savings. Give a small chunk to my sister and her family to pay their mortgage. $20,000 to each of my few deserving friends who were always there for me. Move to Europe where my heart and girlfriend are, pay her university fees, and set us up in a small community near her family, where I could open a fulfilling business and not have to make greedy, amoral people materially wealthy off my sweat in a meaningless job simply to earn a living wage. Set up regular donations to impoverished children based on my interest income, then encourage others to give as well. Spend my life writing, busking on the streets with my guitar to spread the joy of music, shooting photos and creating art, and being involved in making a positive legacy in my community and with my children.

Well if you are asking it then why would I resist.
You can give me how much ever you want.
Why?
Because you are asking.
But I would not prefer joining any kind of surveys.
