Rankings: ( in order )
1.) Lebron James - the best player right now in my opinion
2.) Kevin Garnett - his ppg is not that high because he is so unselfish
3.) Tim Duncan - don't like the guy but he has the best fundamentals
4.) Kobe Bryant - game almost jordan like but not that close like everyone claims
players who are quite close to kobe:
5.) Allen Iverson - still one of the best scorers in the league behind only Kobe and Melo in my opinion
6.) T-Mac - the real leader of the houston rockets team and not the overrated Yao
7.) Dwight Howard - The guy is a beast and will surely be better than KG
8.) Carlos Boozer - Just look at his numbers and his team's winning percentage
9.) Chris Paul - The best point guard in the league right now with his stats and his team's winning record as evidence
10.) Dwyane Wade - his game is also jordanesque but his injury's are plaguing him.. remember he carried his team against dallas in the 2006 nba finals

Steve Nash is just overrated.. it just so happens that that he was placed in a system that was perfect for him thus the 12 assists per game..
And how dare you say that he is better than A.I. when he couldn't even take his all-star ladden team into the conference finals while A.I. brought his mediocre team to the 2001 NBA finals

Lebron is not a choke artist unlike Dirk Nowitzki.. he is actually clutch and can perform in prime time much like he did against the more talented Pistons..
Just so happens that the Spurs were simply better.. Spurs are actually an underrated team (but boring) Two of their players, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, could actually be franchise players if they played on another team (yeah that's how good they really are but you know, they have Tim Duncan on their roster)

ok so kobe did score 81 points in one game...
but t-mac scored 13 points in 35 seconds!!!
Lebron scored 29 of the last 30 cavalier points against detroit pistons last year
Lebron also had a 39 point, 14 rebounds and 13 assists in one game this season
see kobe is not the only player who puts up phenomenal numbers on the board

Kobe is the best scorer in the game, hands down. He can play 5 on 1 and he will still score......I'm not a Kobe fan, but i do respect his game.
The best players in the game rite now are Duncan, KG, Wade, LeBron these players do it all on there teams. They pick-up the slack in whatever catagory its needed.
I glad u didn't pick Nash, cause he is a product of a system, and he has no defense at all.
But what about J. Kidd? Mr. triple double himself. He should be included with the best.

I agree that a few folks overrate LeBron, however I disagree with a few of your reasoning. I do not see why it issues how LeBron will get his facets. The factor of being an effective scorer is to get the maximum percent shot viable. Whether it comes from a dunk or a bounce shot is beside the point. If a participant scored 30 ppg on all dunks, I could be estatic. Points are facets. By your common sense Kobe's forty five fg% is greater than LeBron's 50% considering the fact that he does it utilising a extra various and problematic procedure of scoring. Maybe Kobe must move to the basket extra usually to elevate his percent rather of LeBron taking extra jumpers. Another flaw on your argument is that LeBron does not take any jumpshots. He honestly averages extra three factor photographs (five.two) than Melo (two.7) and Dirk (one million.five) mixed, and he is hitting a authentic 34.nine% of them. That is larger than Kobe (32%) and Melo (33.nine%), and just about as well as Dirk (36%). LeBron does get extra assists because of his position as a factor ahead. He is probably the most unsafe participant at the ground and it is smart that the ball actions by way of him. He can dish like a PG and is 6th within the leage in APG. He is arguably the great passing ahead in NBA historical past and tha isn't an exaggeration. Even through PG requirements he's pleasant passer. I severely doubt Lamar "I disappear for video games at at time" Odom might traditional eight.five APG. He is proficient, however they are no longer within the identical magnificence. I'll deliver you the grab argument. I feel he's approximately traditional in the case of clutchness. He's hit a few significant photographs and made a few significant performs in his profession, however there were countless social gathering wherein he is layed a big egg. I feel he's going to get greater on this discipline as time is going through and he profits extra enjoy. Kobe hasn't alwasy been probably the most grab participant both. I do not feel he is particularly constructed the popularity as a better till the final season or 2. He has blown his proportion of sport winners as good. Personally, I feel the entire grab factor will get tossed round approach an excessive amount of.

Kobe is the best player in the league today, The reason people are having a hard time excepting that fact, is because people always compare him too Jordan, No other player in the league is compared to Jordan But Kobe.

I don't understand y u don't have Steve Nash in ur top 10. U have Allen Iverson and Chris Paul ahead of Steve Nash. Steve Nash is better than both of them. Steve Nash is a top 5 player in the NBA. And he is the best PG in the NBA. Allen Iverson does belong in the top 10 for what he has done over the years. But u can't put Chris Paul in that catergory. Chris Paul is one of the best PG in the but he is not a top 10 player in the NBA. By the end of the season the Hornets are going to be a 7th seed or a 8th seed team. The Hornets are not better than the Spurs, Suns, Mavs, Rockets Jazz, and Nuggets. Everybody else there are better than and yes there better than the Lakers. Chris Paul is not the best PG yet he will be in the future.

Well, they are a number of good players in the league at the moment. But there is no one dominating overall in as far as stats and winning games is concerned. Kobe is a very good player in certain areas, but he doesn't dominate as people may want or expect from him. Right now i can't say who the best player is, i gat my favourite player but i don't think he's good enough. Kobe is one of the best players but not the best.

How is Kobe better then lebron? no offense to Kobe who is a outstanding, unbelievable athlete but Lebron is a significant amount of years younger than Kobe and has accomplished almost as much as Kobe has. (except for winning a couple of titles.) they both have to carry a team on their shoulder, both face of there franchise right now and both are unquestionably one of the top 3 best players in basketball today. But there is one thing that separates Lebron from Kobe and from most young talented players. He look for the EXTRA PASS and has one of the best finishes, clutch shots, dunks, penetration and willingness to win and to not give up when not accomplished that basketball has not seen since the days of Jordan, magic, Oscar Robertson and other guys like him who are amazing at every aspect of the game.

Excuse me? LeBron "choke artist " James? It's already bad enough you got these idiots calling him king, now here you are putting him on the top of your list. He's a great dunker and he jumps high, ill give him that but he belongs on the bottom tier way below KOBE. Your top three are respectable players but I'd go with #1.Kobe,#2KG,and #3 Duncan. Oh yeah, where is Nash?

wow steve nash not in your top 10, hmm are you black, just checking because nash is a stud. in regards to kobe, just he is the best player in the league, his attitude needs adjustment but not his game, name a player in the nba, where you need one shot, one free throws, and try to get 30 pts in quarter, kobe is the man, asked any nba players, and they will say kobe even though they hate his attitude, don't judge talent by attitude. stats? don't try to compare stats now, I don't think you want me to go down the list with that. kobe outnumbered them all when it comes to clutch shots and ft.
