My wife and I are having a little clearout and I'm amazed at how much things we have collected over the years that one no longer has a use for. Oh isn't it wonderful that other people can have the use of things that we no longer need!!

I'm 76 years old and wishing you all the best,
Alfred

"Well done to you and your wife" and the joy of giving is still with you both, I'm humbled Sir, I do give and always will give to various charities, be it take the goods to the shop in person or get the local church charity (furniture) to pick items up, I also spend in my local charity shops too, it's amazing what you can find sometimes, and the knowledge that you have done a little to help those less fortunate give me satisfaction.... Well done to you Alfred...bless up!! "Joe".

Hi Alfred. Yes, I do a clearout about once a year, and donate anything I think someone else could use.

I try to have two clearouts a year...

I also fundraise for charity by doing crazy things, like jumping off of bridges ;0)

All the best to you too....

Only today I have cleared out my loft and amassed 2 huge bags of stuff to take down to the charity - sometimes its sad to see it go but if its been in the loft for a while then you're just not using it, better for someone else to get some benefits from it.

Alfred, You are a wonderful human being. I , too, have a load ready to go to the charities. I always donate good stuff and unneeded items of mine but, something someone else may want/need.

Hi Alfred, yes I donate to charitys, but it tends to be smaller local ones, I have no faith in in the large national charities (RSPCA NSPCC..) they spend far too much on admin, and wages etc.. so i tend to lean towards the local hospice, and animal charities...

but i love to nose around charity shops.. so i do my bit there too.. xx

I do yes, I raise money for McMillan nurses from the points I earn on here, so far I've raised over £5,000, its a novel way to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart.

Yes, I donate money out of my paycheck every month to Diabetes UK as my dad has it. I also give clothes and unwanted items to charity shops.
