It was the big charity event day on Friday in the UK,Children In Need, where loads of people dress up ect, trying to get money for disadvantaged children. It culminates in a live show on the BBC in the evening.
A friend of ours, whose nickname is Moo,decided to dress up as a cow.During a break from collecting, she took some friends to McDonalds for a lunch break. As she got out of the car and BEFORE she got to the store, she was quickly surrounded by McDonalds staff who DEMANDED to know what she was up to.She explained she was dressed up for Children In Need and they said they thought she was coming to protest about the burgers and meat they sold. The incident left her quite distressed..
Mmmm...paranoia by McDonald's perhaps?Something to hide perhaps?
We've all heard the stories about McDonalds;the rainforests cut down for intensive farming ect. This to me,just re-inforces those stories.
What do you think?

Even if they WEREN'T involved in such scandalous behavior, it's a really awful place to eat. One meal, and your cholesterol level shoots up by like 10 points! I'm not sure if it reinforces those stories, but it does look awfully suspicious.

Next time, just pick up some sushi.

I understand,I haven't had McDonald's in ages,I have noticed if I do have it I end up with a strange sort of stomach ache after,so I don't get it anymore. As for that incident though being in the UK I know it was Children in need last week, and I think it's nice for your friend to dress up to show support as for the staff they are most likely covering their backs incase anything is there which isn't suppose to be or the level of food standards and hygiene isn't right as they weren't prepared for the visit.

Nobody is forced to eat there and I don't suppose Ronald goes out there personally with a chain saw. Nor do I believe that only cattle destined for MacDonald's graze the the deforested rain forest, the whole incident should have been turned into something hilarious!
