It was until several years ago, but the media try to use it as often as possible in the hope that it will become acceptable. Again its the question of the lowering of standards over time. The word "Wind" was widely used previously but perhaps that's more difficult for the morons to spell than the 4th word in your question

no its not. i use it in the way as to call somone a daft fart an old fart a silly fart. its very much like useing the word bloody. not bad i think as some other words you could use.
