It means the hotel housekeeping department goes into your room in the early evening and turns the bed covers down so when you are ready to go to bed, the bed is not made up the way it was earlier in the day so you can slip right in between the sheets,.

Besides preparing the bed covers I usually find fine chocolates on the pillow. Personally I usually put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door and catch housekeeping every other day for fresh towels, toiletries and coffee. I give them a few bucks. I'm happy because I don't worry about someone coming in and disturbing me or my belongings. They are happy, they have one less room to clean.

I'm not a messy slob so there is no extra work then normal when I check out.

It is an ego boosting unnecessary service that includes turning paback the linens on the bed and placing a rose or piece of candy on the bed. At some hotels it may include warming the sheets.

It means that they will come in and turn the corner of the bed covers down for you so you don't have to do it yourself before you get into bed, sometimes you get a chocolate too

i think that means they come in and pull the corners of the sheets down so you just climb into bed.
