Yeah i have, and it's not a good idea ! I became really weak and felt unwell. Also, as soon as i started eating again i put on even more weight. This is what happens when you starve yourself because any food your body gets it will start to store as fat. If you are overweight.. then go on a controlled diet and do some exercise. Starving yoursrelf definately isn't the answer. Hope this helped.x

No, but I cut out fried food about 18 mths ago and now the thought of all that grease actually makes me feel ill. I can't eat chips anymore as the smell, texture, and taste of the oil is off putting. Thank god. I went from a 34inch waist to a 28 in a few short mths. Starving does not help as your body shuts down and weight just hangs off you, not to mention it can make you really ill.

Absolutely never, I'm on diet now and have lost over 4 stones by eating very healthy meals 3 times a day, never a good idea to starve yourself.

Yes. I went on this mad diet, where basically you cannot eat anything at all, not even chewing gum, all you can have is the shakes, which are made from powder and water.

It did work very well in that I lost a stone and a half in a month and kept it off for a year now, but it was very hard and I wouldn't recommend it as my hair started falling out and it also had an effect on my monthly cycle.

Am currently doing so. It's the only way I can lose it because of the PCOS. Not literally starving but trying to eat as little as I can.

I can never go back to eating 'properly' or I'll go straight back up to 25 stones.

No. If you want to lose weight then you have to do it sensibly. You know, the old calorie to exercise ratio - slowly overtime.

There is no quick fix. People are so silly with their health. They take their health for granted. I've never needed to lose weight, as I'm an hectamorph.

No I enjoy my food too much to punish my body that way. How about sensible eating and regular exercise for anyone who wants to lose weight
