Is it instinct or economics? What drives the conflict? Is there a general problem, or is there a complex culture intervening (in the western culture)?

There has never been and shall never be the kind of divide you are suggesting between men and women.Aren't feminists giving births to children, rearing them up, running families and making their contributions for the society and their nation? When it comes to a crunch,we all fall in to the line and follow a defined road, with minor variations here and there( which we call individuality, great divide,women's/men's rights, gender bias or name and add it).Be it economics, culture or genetics, men and women are inseparable and equal parts of our race.Differences come and go,men and women stay and human race goes ahead marching as it is doing since time unknown.

well darlin', it's cause women don't have to work, cause they can find a man to take care of them.but if there is a smart broad, that will take a job away from a man, thats trying to support a wife and family, even tho the woman is just doing it for the hell of it,society can't make it worth it to her!sorry, but i hope you understand!
