Yes, my co-worker threw a bucket of mop water on me towards the end of the night, as a joke. And then a huge rush happened 10 minutes to close, somebody complained and I got fired for not being presentable.

I've been fired from several jobs in my lifetime. It is always a riot. Most of the time, you know it's coming. There have been a few that blindsided me though. It sure ain't the end of life as you know it!!!

yep, and to this day i don't know why. exactly one week before, the boss had me in his office saying what a fine job i was doing, how my co-workers all liked me, i did everything that was asked, the public liked my work, and so on. one week later TO THE DAY i was fired, without a word of explanation. that was 12 years ago, and i STILL don't know the reason.

Yeah, I was a bus boy and the white man was trying to ride me like a slave. I called the bstrd a "pig" he wasn't the manager but, a manager. So my captain, manager called me to the side and he was going to give me a few day to cool off. I said "this Ashole started it" I was doing what I was supposed to be doing and he wanted me to do something else - I replied to him that I would, when I finished doing the current thing. He kept asking me to do the same thing over and over. So I called the pig and pig and I got canned. Not the thing to do at a country club.

yeah they kept calling me and getting to my voicemail...i decided to quit on my final day of work so i can avoid being fired for real, it was a sh*t job.

yes ,,,, i got in to a fight with the boss , we both ended up in the hospital then to to the police department. then unemployment line. both of us were fired .
