By nature females are socially creative and are more sincere emmotionally and thus understand the humanality better.By all means females play no lesser role in devlopment of the societry. If we asses , we will find females as better performers then men, where ever they got a chance...Yes,,50% seats should be reserved for females. that will be right and just as well,,Reservation of seats or jobs should be equal for both men and women,,,but reservation should be only and only on sex basis,
This is bound to upbring the society on the whole. from its present status.

There is a difference in voluntarily giving up an "equal right" in deference to gender, than in legislating the giving up of that right. Starting with the premise that men and women have equal rights under the Constitution of the US --- it is noted that it required amendments to clarify that.

If i have an equal right to enter a building first, but choose to give up that right and hold a door open for a woman -- what is not right (correct) about that? If, however, the Federal Government were to tell me I MUST give up my right and MUST let a woman enter first -- then that would be wrong.

We have still not evolved properly in this country when it comes to gender discrimination --- why do male nurses earn more on average than female nurses doing the same job?

The Federal Government has tried to "correct" imbalances and prior discrimination by providing "quotas" and preferencial treatment for women and other minorities. I believe that is wrong. I understand what the attempt is, but using discrimination to impact discrimination is futile. We need to spend more money in education at the earliest levels in schools to eliminate the ignorance and prejudices.

I will continue to hold doors open to allow ladies to enter first. I will continue to offer a lady my seat, rather than see her stand. I will continue to offer a woman my place in a line out of respect for her. I shall do these things voluntarily and not because any government tells me to do so.

Reservation on any ground is not justified.
If some one really need help to grow or stand in social life he or she should be extended help to make himself or herself at par with others. It can be done with facilities for studies, security to have free life. If female is to be supported the best way is to change mind of males and make them think that female has her own thinking and choice and her choice and thoughts should be valued at par with male. No female should be taken for granted at any point. Reservation is insult and is a step to show someone that he or she is not able to reach certain level but has got it with obligation.
