now i installed XP. I could not take a back up of the Tools folder which contains drivers and now i am facing a big problem in installing them. Can anybody advice if somewhere on the net i can find the drivers for Acer Aspire M3610, the Motherboard Model is Acer MRS600M. Please update if there is any site.

You used a store-bought XP CD, or worse, a pirated copy. That's what's wrong. The Acer drivers are on the Recovery disks.

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your Acer and follow ALL the installation instructions and Recovery “How To's” to the letter.

Still Stuck? Call the manufacturer for tech support.

If you did not delete the hidden partition that contains the system restoration files, you are Ok. Just restore your system from setup.

Otherwise, install Vista and download drivers from Acer's website.

I've been looking for a while now with no luck you may have to reload vista get the driver of there website move them to a memory stick then reformat

try the system restore.i accidentally deleted my windows media player and somebody adviced me to use the system restore and i recovered it back.good luck
