it`s cheaper in the shop, but you can`t get 1, i had to buy mine from eBay last month for the kids Xmas present, it is a jap import, so rather than import the games, i got it chipped, and now it plays any Nintendo games from any country.
good luck.

usually shops are the best place to obtain any electrical equipment, this is because the shop will refund/replace your goods without hassle. If you bought it from someone who lives 200 miles away and he bought it on his credit card you're not exactly able to get a refund on it are you. Even if you buy it from a second hand shop its still a shop with a receipt and you still have a guarantee for it. Ebay sellers sometimes sell faulty goods and its a waste of postage and packaging too for something you cant guarantee will work.

I'd stick to a shop for a Wii - although there are a few on ebay that are probably ok, you won't get very far if something goes wrong etc etc. Best sticking to a known supplier in this case I think.

My buddy, enable me inform you. save your PS3. believe me, you will no longer sense sorry approximately it. I easily have a 360 and a Wii. i do no longer even dare to the touch my Wii ever because of the fact the third week I have been given it. The wii is greater for like little little ones at the instant and likewise for elders. in case you particularly like good action, scuffling with, rpg, journey video games stay along with your PS3. The Wii don't have those form of video games.

at the moment you can expect to pay up to double the price on ebay, alot of the wii's do come with purchase reciept and warranty. Check if seller on ebay is insuring the postage. If you are not desperate and can wait till after christmas then i would wait till january.

to be honest, the fact that you are asking this question and are wary about buying from ebay, tells me that you shouldnt buy from ebay.
I got mine from Currys, register your interest on the currys website (www.currys.co.uk) and they put you on the waiting list. I only waited 10 days and i got one.
Id always reccomend buying electricals from a shop, if anything goes wrong you can always go and fight your case and get people to back you up.
good luck.
