In my household there are many factors that go into deciding...
How many people are present?
Who did you cook for? Just you? Everyone?
Who has the best excuse to not do the dishes? I hate this one the most because everyone whines about how much they JUST did... yeah right.
and ultimately....
Who REALLY wants them done. If you're living with slobs, it's gonna be you every time because they just won't care.

I don't know who washing up in your house, but my husband washes up after dinner in our house while I take a nice, hot shower. It's very nice of him to do so, don't you think?
