How do you get over someone you know you can never have?

Occupy yourself with other things.. It may be hard at first, but with time, you will gradually forget.

I can relate. I've known someone for 19 years (since we were teenagers). We were great platonic friends and lost touch. We reunited via internet while he was deployed to Iraq some 4 years ago. Now he's married but they don't have any children. He just told me that he's divorcing her. I respect his marriage and chose not to see him again, but now this news.

It's tough getting over someone you've never had and probably never will, but respectable just to move on with your life.

Find someone just a suitable & that you can have. It may sound like a joke but it's the best antidote to cure the pain. I went through it 3 times many moons ago.
