Where I live in Portage County in Ohio you can go to the local government web site. You can look up anyones record. Marriage licenses are listed under the man. You can also check public records to see if they are still married or divorced.

talk to the person about family life, very often. they may say something to slip away the family they have, and if they dont, they will get irritated very quickly every time the topic comes up. then if they ask, why do you keep asking about family and stuff? then you got them cornered...a lier is easy to catch, and a shrewd person cannot keep a secret life for long enough, no matter how good they are. takes some talking tactics.

good luck

Get a home # instead of the cell. Or plan a date to pick them up from their home and let them know you want to get a chance to see how they live (With or without someone).

without being plain rude, there really isnt a way... you could ask for a marriage certificate, or, to be less up front, ask to see pix.
