Usually this occurs during increased or decreased awareness of time. Either that or you are accelerating to light speed occasionally....

Are you smoking marijuana when it seems to go slower? Just kidding. When I was working for my old boss, I began to hate the job just because I hated my boss because she was such a biatch to me and so nice to the other workers. Since this job was not a career move and I had no previous experience, I got hired at a very low salary. Even though SOMETIMES I had stuff I had to do, I would get it done very fast because I was good at it once I learned how to do it. Then, I would just surf the internet for the rest of the day and be bored as heck. The days I had more to do, those days went by faster. The days I was on the internet most of the time, those days went by slower.

Now, I am out of work and the days go by super-slow cuz I have nothing to do accept look for work. But on days I have class, those days go by pretty fast cuz I usually procrastinate to do my chapter reading and homework until that very day (good thing I have class at night) and so I'm busy the entire day on that stuff. Then, it's off to class, I get home afterwards, eat dinner, check my email, and go to bed.

well,there are 2 reasons,
1.you are feeling bored and so time seems to go slowly and when you are enjoying yourself time goes faster.
2, the other reason is Einstein's theory of relativity according to which moving clocks travel slower.

it seems it goes faster in the mind when your having fun(a concert,a sports event...) and slower when the conversation is dull(or the work is tedious, the girls are'nt walking by while youre' waiting for them as your drinking a cool one on your patio overlooking the beach, you keep losing money at the poker table...)

When you are having good time the time goes fater, and when you are having bad/sad time then it goes slower. It is our thinking but realstickly there is nothing change with times.

It depends on how u spend it .If you are engaged in something which u like u don`t feel bore so time seems to fly .It is explained very well in Timedilation concept of Special Theory of Reativity

In your question the importance has to be given tothe word "Seems"

So it is realitve to you based on your mood (mental condition if i mean literally)

that happeneds due to a lot of parameters

then the subject changes from physics to psychology

What do you say?

Faster: when you are having fun or are incredibly busy, you tend not to look at your watch often which means that between each time reading, more time has passed.

Slower: when you are bored, you tend to look at your watch to see how much time has passed, and you look more often so it may only be a few minutes between each reading.
