I have seen some abuse on here directed at someone whose Profile is set to private, and I just want to know - do you know that people who aren't trolls set their Profiles on private??????????? - I have seen questions from some very dodgy people whose Qs and As are visible to all.

I've gotten way to many violation notices thanks to the trolls, so that's why mine's private! I haven't been getting nearly as many since!

There are 2 explanation why human beings have their profiles inner maximum a million.) The issues they have is for mature objective audience 2.) because of the fact they don't desire to be stalked or have their profile information appeared at by utilising random human beings. however the acquaintances they prevalent or extra can seem on the profile, yet outsiders can not

works the reverse, have been coming to and from q+a for a couple of years and seen trolls abuse many friends.
Had a lady friend who got hounded and abused by a troll who mailed abuse went on her 360 site a left abuse, her only choice was to go private.

My questions and answers are private because people kept reporting me, my first account was deleted because of the trolls. I learned the hard way

My guess would be some hide it because they don't want their accounts falsely deleted...
And Lots I assume do it for reasons as you have stated.... You can tell this by what they ask not so much just by them setting it to private...
