with his flaming vicodin addiction? Huh, drug addicts in the HOF are acceptable? Huh, Ricky Williams isn't so bad then.

Hypocrites.

So the point is...

you can abuse drugs:

1: if they are legal

2: if you are a future hall of famer.

Also, you won't be tested for vicodin even if you are not on any injury report.

yeah, yeah, yeah...

Say what you want, but that iron man record isn't worth a sh*t if you are abusing medication to do it. Enjoy all those Favre records, they will be destroyed by Manning in about five years. Well, that is all but the interception record. Favre will own that forever.

He will make it on the first vote. No one talks about his addiction anymore.

If LT and Michael Irvin are in it. Favre will definitely be in it!

So disgruntled Bear or viking fan?

Seriously, how can you even question whether he'll make the HoF???

Let's see

3 MVPs
Most Career Wins
Most TDs
on the way to Most Passing Yards
Longest Starting Streak for QBs (I love when they show the lists of how many QBs have started for teams since Brett took over)

The whole vicodin thing was an issue but pretty sure that was before his superbowl season and he admitted his issue and got himself into rehab and hasn't really had anything said about it since then. He was never suspended for it, never fined for it, he never took time to go play in the CFL where he could take it and not be tested. The fact that you'd even mention this in the same sentence as Ricky Williams shows that you have some bias against one the best QBs of all time and a lock for first ballot

Brett Favre is an undisputed first ballot hall of famer. He hold the all time touchdowns record and he is one of only two quarterbacks to throw for more than 60,000 yards in his career. He is a multiple league MVP and a Super Bowl Champion.

Ricky Williams has been largely absent from the league over the last several years. He will miss the Hall of Fame not because he smokes weed but because his statistic will not warrant it.

You try playing in the NFL for as many years as Favre, and see if you are not addicted to a painkiller!! Its not as if we are talking about cocaine, or steroids! Vicodin is only codiene, same as the Dr. would give you for a sprained ankle. Favre belongs in the hall of fame. If you don't know that by now, then you either just hate him, or you have no knowledge of the game of football.

As far as Favres addiction he admitted to it, it wasn't performance enhancing and he got help. Ricky doesn't quite have HOF status, besides Ricky is a repeat offender of the NFL rules, if he were to go clean come back and put up good numbers I'd be all for him in the HOF.

Are you stupid? you will possibly desire to be. Are you a annoyed Charger fan? probable. Is Brett Favre selfish? No. Your asserting Favre is putting the Packers returned 3 years...yet their 3-0? you're saying Favre admitted he wont help Rodgers? He pronounced he's not MANDATED to help him, yet nonetheless does in any different case Rodgers wouldnt have produced so properly in the Preseason. additionally, heres some historical past for you, why could Brett Favre come back for information after his father surpassed directly to the comprehensive beyond, his spouse shriveled Breast maximum cancers, his brother in regulation died, all in a twelve months era? Favre didnt "very almost end Javon Walker's occupation", did Favre provide Walker his ACL injury? No, so how are you going to declare hes to blame for it? as properly, Walker had ONE.....good twelve months, you dont have one good twelve months and insist Marvin Harrison- form money. So get your data right away earlier you attempt to bash one among, and arguably the ultimate, quarterbacks of all time.

You have many types of addicts... drugs, sex, alcohol, even things like shopping... As far as the HOF is concerned, it's more likely you will be judged for what you do ON the field of play vs. in your personal life. Favre is a first ballot HOF player.

You make it in the HOF for your actions on the field, not off. Otherwise guys like LT don't make it. Why would you keep a guy like Favre out of the HOF? He will be, statistically, the best QB ever, and arguably the best ever.

Well seeing as how Brett admitted he had a problem and was brave enough to face it and even make it public I don't see it as a problem to anyone. Aside from that he will retire holding most of if not all of the significant career records in the passing category. He is a dead lock first ballot hall of famer.

First vote he will be eligible for. He has never failed an NFL drug test.

Ricky Williams has never proved himself in the NFL. Favre is one of the best ever to play his position.
