Please don't tell me that he is a comedian!

If that is his claim to fame then he needs to sack his gag writers & hire some new ones. The other cast members try hard to laugh at his corny one-liners but it is becoming increasingly more difficult for them to put on a good act.

He is an embarrassment. My wife reckons he must have signed a lengthy contract with C9 otherwise he'd be given the flick.

If I'm told, in here, that he IS funny then I, & my immediate circle of friends, ourselves have no sense of humour as we all think he is a drop-kick.

Maybe it's a Victorian sense of humour we lack, eh?

I AGREE and i am a passionate Vic,he's just a waste of space on the footy show,id say they keep him around just because he's one of the originals, but funny he definately isn't.

p.s the guy that keeps the audience entertained during the add breaks is ten times funnier

Regardless of all the bad jokes from the past couple of years, he is a legend of that show. He started out well 15 years ago and while he may not have ended on a high note, he really contributed to the show in many ways that no other man could of. I think his time was up as sometimes his joke wouldnt get the normal kinds of laughs and I think that channel nine really knew or thought that he was passed his used by date, in other words he would appeal more to audiences from 15 years ago rather than today - why he was axed. Hope he has more success in the future.

When The Footy Show started, he was like the Peter Helliar of the day. The funniest football comedian. Now, he's there cos he's iconic for the Footy Show.

It's like Rodney Rude or Austentatious (however he spells it). The first time he was funny, the second time you smile and say that WAS funny ... by the tenth time you see him you find yourself screaming at him to shut the hell up and let us watch the big brother vote off (yep, that's how bad he is)

Of course, you could do what I do and turn the tele off when it comes on!

He is a tosser who used to be funny, now he's just there to be a smart@rse.
He'll slag off any player he sees fit( especially magpie players).
The funny thing is, i seem to recall him ever pulling on a boot for anyone...well any team of stature anyway.
Maybe the uppercumbuckta west thirds.

Trevor at times can be funny, but that goes with all comedians, not all the jokes they say are going to be funny.

Maybe not lack of Victorian humour you have, just resentment of Victorians in general?

Be careful in criticizing anyone, or anything, connected to Victoria, pal. You will get jumped on by those Vics. They can't stand criticism in any shape or form.

I'm in Qld & they are all jealous of our state.

P.S. I agree, he is a drop kick.

I think he used to be funny, but he is running out of material and it's getting all the same.....a little old.

They cannot get rid of him though cause he has always been part of the show and I'd be the first to say the show would not be the same with his smart @rse comments, especially to Collingwood and Eddie.lol

I agree that Trevor is getting a bit stale, but sometimes he takes the limelight off that Dick head Sam!!

Hey, I'm not a Vic but still find it funny!!

You must be a little bit way out west???

Trevor is an icon of the Footy Show and his 'Almost Footy Legends' segment is hilarious...thanks to his commentary.

Just opinions mate, no right or wrong answers here....

But if you wanna have a dig at us Victorians...then yep, you DO unfortunately lack the sense of humor...
