I'd say I complain about being taken for granted more than I really am. And I apologize about taking others for granted more than I really do. Kinda hypocritical, I know.

Both. I'd be making myself out to be the victim if I said I was only taken for granted, have never taken for granted myself. I couldn't stand to be that emo.

I have taken for granted by many people years ago....but now I have learned good lessons out of that .
I never allow any one to do it again.
But I never take others for granted. It is very bad I suppose.
Why should I do the same mistake for others?

Yes and Guilty.........I think its a 2 way Street and all are a little bit taken for granted........its easy in a relationship. The same for the other side of the coin. we all are guilty of taking other for granted.
like before its easy to do in a relationship!

Both.
It's 'assumed' that I will keep on volunteering where I volunteer.
It's also 'assumed' that the folks that do stuff for me will keep on doing so.
If you're referring to a personal relationship, NEVER TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED!!!.
I got bored, found a new honey, realized I made a mistake and found out my old honey got married. Sit down and really think about what you want.

I have usually been taken for granted, all of my life, especially by men who I have married. You would think I'd have learned.

I try to not take others for granted and by-gum I try to not let others take me for granted......
